The Japan Lacquered Wallpaper Collection is named after the 17th century art of 'japanning' which was created by European furniture makers. Imitating the Asian style of lacquered furniture, typically black decorative cabinets.
Andrew Martin intrudes the Japan Pattern Book wallpaper, a truly opulent and lustrous lacquered wallpaper in light blush. The papers of the Japan Collection are Gravure printed which leaves the colour intricately textured. Then overlayed with glossy lacquer, these wallpapers have a multi-layered feel, giving them a unique look and appeal.
Take your interiors one step further and play with these papers, matching two tones together or creating a contrasting stripe around a room.
